It is also defined as electronic information security or information technology security. Every year there is a rising number of data breaches with global cyber threats continuing to evolve at a rapid pace. According to the survey, 7.9 billion records have been revealed by data breaches in the first nine months of 2019. This data is more than double the data (112%) number of records revealed in the same period in 2018.
